SAy Olla! to Enrique..one of the worlds unique persons..he was a kitchen hand at Lemon Cafe ..and being a free thinker we soon fell into mad plans and schemes..one of them being T-shirts ...well mixed results..however NUMBers ( pictured) was kind of fun..It all fell apart as he had to move back to Spain ..but one day the shirts may live again?!

the lemon mural

Yes, the infamous Lemon mural a book could ( and still may be) written about it and the effort it took to accomplish..lets just say for now that if you have to work Don't do it with a 3 day deadline then work FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT!....no sleep no rest just coffee , adrenallin fear and anger( dont paint angry now!) It's not really finished and the mistakes are multiple ( I see them almost every day and they are a constant thorn in my side) but for what it is ..it is.
this isn't a great shot ,I've thrown a couple of shots together on photoshop so you can't really get the whole scope of the thing but enuff to get the idear.

Broom Broom! thank you Kearon Hardy.. it takes a lot for someone to say..ok here's my motercycle paint it! It takes that certain someone ( drunk/ foolish/trusting/not caring or a combination) to let you go all out...here there were no paramiters and well I just let loose there is no theme or style just a mishmash of stuff really..( there are characters from Tank Girl..sorry guys..Jap text and bats?) go figure.. he was happy and was almost going to let me do his new fridge next, but this girlfriend vetoed the thought..just as well.. it's one thing to have condensed madness giong along the freeway at 70 mph and sonething else to have it sitting in the corner of the kitchen like some dark brooding god..evertime you go for the milk ..EEEEKKK

Ahh the quest continues..here i was trying to unlock the oriental ( japanese ) style that shows itself most elegantly in hello kitty..the proportions are fantastic( and probably mathmatically formulated)It's the vitruvain man of our age..

Ya YA ..here's a little bit o fun..A thingy from art school which delved into things.. I.e drawing / writng creating under the influence.. here I went for the sleep deprevation (think the manchurian candidate.. the original film..not that the remake wasn't sloppy) no sleep for three days and off we go... fun fun fun..I've got a THING for art that is well..outside.. think children's doodles or people with a mental disabillity..it's fasinating.. there's something about the way there isn't an imprint yet ( well on kids ) from society yet..and their lessons have'nt been learnt yet..THIS IS COMPOSITION ( I'll draw ona page where I feel ) THIS IS COLOUR THEORY ( hey the sun looks green to me!) I'm shure there's been volumes written on the subject..but for me it seems to be all about getting back to THE SOURCE... sounds weird I know.. but you know....
